The geothermal industry remains concerned that no new programs were announced for geothermal energy projects and that the $650m to be shared across all renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies is less than half of what the geothermal industry alone needs to develop its projects in Australia to the point where investors will be satisfied in the technology and in the cost reductions".
